The VTHC Annual Conference for health and safety representatives, the biggest event held during WorkSafe Week, will celebrate the work of thousands of health & safety representatives (HSRs) who have contributed to the safe and healthy working conditions over the past 26 years.
The conference is free and all elected HSRs are entitled to attend the conference on paid leave under S69 of the Victorian Health and Safety Act. Deputy HSRs, and HSRs under Comcare are welcome to attend, as long as their employer gives permission.
Wayne Mader, Branch Secretary said, “The ramps would provide truck drivers with better and direct access to the port and surrounding transport depots, easing congestion on local streets.”
“The Labor Government allocated the seed funds for this important project and now Mr. Baillieu and his Liberal Government have put the project on hold,” said Mr. Mader.
